Shipping

Depending on the area and time your item needs to be delivered, The Cheese Company may ship it USPS, FedEx or UPS. Choose from Ground, 3-Day, 2-Day, Overnight, Priority Overnight, or Saturday deliveries. Always give yourself an extra day for your gifts to arrive.

Cheese Club is shipped second day air to the continental 48 states for free to club members.

Perishable products are packaged to last up to 48 hours.

Signature is not required for delivery. If nobody is there when the package is delivered, the box will be left at the door. Product cannot be shipped to PO boxes.

Ordering Information

Product orders are placed online. The shopping cart is secure and SSL encrypted (scrambled). Because orders are immediately sent to the appropriate suppliers, online ordering is the most efficient and expeditious method. If your order includes items from more than one of our suppliers, the product from each supplier will be shipped separately. Out of stock items are visible in the catalog but cannot be added to the cart (hence avoiding accidental ordering of unavailable items).

Payment Methods

We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card only. We do accept checks or money orders. Your credit card will be charged upon ordering.

Shipping Timeframe

All orders for cheese club are shipped last week of every month.

Address Correction

If a package is undeliverable because you have entered an incorrect or incomplete address during the registration or checkout process, we may attempt to find the correct address and try to complete the delivery. If this occurs, we will assess a special handling fee of $10 per address correction, and will reserve the right to charge that amount to your credit card. You authorize us to make and collect such charge. Please double-check addresses during checkout to avoid delays and extra fees.

In the event an incorrect or incomplete address is provided to us and the shipped product spoils as a result of the delay, we will not be liable, and a refund will not be awarded.

Order Errors

The customer is responsible for correctly entering orders online. We are not responsible for customer mistakes during ordering, and will not bear financial responsibility for such errors. Examples include but are not limited to typing errors, transposing addresses, swapping shipping and billing addresses, selecting the wrong items, selecting the wrong number of items, etc. Please double-check all information before you submit your order. Once the order is placed, it may not be cancelled.

Guarantee, Cancellations and Returns

Products are guaranteed to arrive in good order. Please notify us by email within 24 hours if the product is spoiled or damaged in shipping. We will mail shipping instructions and a return authorization number and instructions. Orders cannot be cancelled after the first shipment or cheese will be charged at retail price and shipping will be $ 29.99 per month for next day air and $ 15 for second day air for each shipment received.

Damage Claims:

File damage claims directly with DHL [ 1-800-225-5345] and save the product in the freezer until DHL inspects the damaged perishable products. Please email us the claim number provided by DHL by e-mail. We will issue full refund of your damage claim after DHL settles the claim.
